back to life back to reality

im back in sydney now. my visit home was WAY to short and i wish i would have planned better and was able to stay longer. in the meantime im looking to move out of my apt. hopefully and closer to the beach and more of my friends. lets hope i can!! so tomorrow is new years eve--im planning on going out with my brothers friend to see the fireworks and a night of fun who knows maybe i will meet some new friends.

i miss you--only 7.5 months! hahaha

I'M HOME

I made it home!!! YAY!

its so cold but im finally here. and now i don't want to go back-haha

ahh seriously!

wow really could it be any more hot this week? unreal. so we set a record the other day for the hottest day in december since records were kept--it was 108--and you know they take temp.s in the shade. you couldn't even breathe because here unlike the desert, we have humidity. and it has let up some we have been in the 90s every other day and today it was only a mere 88 out. whoo--i can't even go to the beach its so bloody hot unless i want to look all leathery-which i don't. so i can't wait to play in the snow storms back home in 1 day and 14 some hours until i am on my plane!! i think 2 1/2 weeks of cold will be great fun actually. then i get to come back to the blistering heat of sydney summers!! ohh and by the way that photo was taken on the walk from bondi to coogee beaches earlier last month--too funny!!

Details...

First off, I got the Qantas flight squared away and I am on the 1230 flight as planned. WHOO--

I went golfing on Monday at St. Michaels with my pal Justin--it was good but I played with boy clubs so we didn't really play; plus we had to walk and carry the clubs since we went out around 615pm. But take a look at the pics. Not too bad for being in a drought.

The final pictures of Christmas decorations are up--QVB and Town Hall. Pretty Sweet.

I also cut the extensions--looks SO much better I reckon. What do you think?

Today I worked as an elevator host for this exclusive Sydney party. I don't think I have ever felt so "low" in my entire life. I wanted to explain to people that no, this isn't my job-and yes, I have more education than YOU but I refrained and smiled while I pushed the buttons. I was scheduled to do this tomorrow night and Thursday all day as well but I have gotten out of Thursday and hopefully they can find someone else for tomorrow night too. I'd like the money but it's not worth that for as much humiliation as I had. ....pricks
