No good no good no good

ahhh!!! I just called Qantas to check my flight for Sunday (aisle seat, vegetarian...blah, blah, blah) and I found out that I'm not on any flight scheduled for Sunday. Apparently when I changed flights in August from the 19th to the 11th the transaction went through-thus the charge I paid-but my agent back in the US (studentuniverse) cancelled my reservation as they thought I was scheduled on two flights. AHHHH!!!! The man from Qantas is going to call me back tomorrow but he doesn't think it will be a problem and I informed him that no, they better not be any problems since I have 2 connecting flights after I get to LA. I'm sure the issue will be worked out and I will just have to get to the airport extra early for a better seat but REALLY?! Luckily I called otherwise there would have been a major breakdown at the airport. So there is a lesson for all of you: TRIPLE CHECK YOUR FLIGHTS!!!

ohhh and it was another scorcher today--34 degrees (94 degrees) and the heat doesn't look to be letting up anytime soon either.
